monster therapy . 2021 game mockup
built in gb studio v2.1 beta, this was my first time building sprites for gameboy color.
i did the art, my collaborator was writing the script.
the premise was to be an interactive text based game comprised of providing therapy for a series of classic monsters and cryptids.
in the sprite sheet at the bottom, you can see prototype sprites for a lady IT clown who was to be your secretary and menu screen and a tutorial-stage grey alien.
